中國研究碩士課程提供了一個(gè)絕佳的機(jī)會(huì)，可以利用倫敦大學(xué)亞非學(xué)院廣泛的學(xué)科方法研究中國社會(huì)。 該課程主要側(cè)重于現(xiàn)代和當(dāng)代中國，但也可以學(xué)習(xí)前現(xiàn)代中國的一些方面。攻讀該學(xué)位的學(xué)生來自許多國家，擁有各種各樣的學(xué)術(shù)背景。有些人希望拓寬他們以前的研究或?qū)χ袊慕?jīng)驗(yàn)，而另一些人則在學(xué)習(xí)該課程時(shí)，并沒有將中國元素融入到他們的第一學(xué)位課程中，而是希望將他們之前的培訓(xùn)重點(diǎn)放在該地區(qū)。該課程不要求學(xué)生掌握中文，但語言模塊很受學(xué)生歡迎。 倫敦大學(xué)亞非學(xué)院設(shè)有自己的中國研究所，是國際中國專業(yè)知識(shí)的領(lǐng)先中心。歡迎學(xué)生參加研究所定期舉辦的研討會(huì)，國際演講者在研討會(huì)上介紹他們涉及中國研究各個(gè)方面的研究成果。
